Shaw and children: Henry,Charles, Mrs Gertrude Croft, Edith, Mrs Edna Mentzer, Paul, Elwood, Lloyd Jr, and Elizabeth; also brothers and sisters: Mrs Jane Coy of Van Ormer, Mrs Minnie Piper, Joseph E and Aden H.

Lloyd Alpheus Stiffler, a lifelong resident of Duncansville and vicinity, was found dead in his bed at his home in Duncansville Monday evening at 5 o'clock. Mr. Stiffler was not feeling well and went to his room at 2 o'clock in the afternoon. When members went to call him for supper, he was dead. He was born Nov. 16, 1856, in Poplar Run, the son of Abraham and Mrs. Rachel Stiffler, and resided in Duncansville for the past twenty-five years, being employed for a number of years as a foreman for the American Lime and Limestone company, for twelve years in West Virginia, and more recently at Blairfour. He was united in marriage on July 4, 1880, with Miss Elizabeth Shaw, who survives, with the following children: Harry, Charles, Mrs. Gertrude Croft, Edith, Mrs. Edna Mentzer, Paul, Elwood, Lloyd, jr., and Elizabeth; also the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Jane Coy, Mrs. Minnie Piper, Joseph E. and Aden H. He was a member of the Duncansville Lutheran church and served the borough as judge of elections for many years. Funeral services will be conducted in the Duncansville Lutheran church Thursday morning at 10 o'clock, in charge of his pastor, Rev. Isaac Krider. Interment in Carson Valley cemetery.
