Albert "Junior" Knight

HIDEAWAY - Graveside services for Albert "Junior" Knight, 87, Hideaway, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday in Mount Sylvan Cemetery with Bro. Herschel Sanders officiating. Arrangements are with Caudle-Rutledge Funeral Directors, Lindale.

Mr. Knight died Dec. 2, 2008, in a Lindale nursing home.
He was born Sept. 21, 1921, in Fort Worth to the late Albert Lincoln Sr. and Leota Maulsby Knight.

He graduated from The University of Texas and served in the Army Air Corps during World War II. He lived in Fort Worth where he owned Knight's Gun Shop prior to moving to Hideaway 32 years ago. He was a member of Hideaway Lake Community Church, Hideaway Lake Dance Club, Men's Golf Association, Elks Lodge, Masonic Lodge and he was a Shriner.

Survivors include his wife, Mildred Atwood Knight, Hideaway; son, Bob Atwood. Hideaway; daughter, Barbara Clasen, Hideaway; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until noon Friday at the funeral home.
