A veteran of World War II and a member of Arlington Height Baptist Church, he died October 8 in Pachuta.

He is survived by his wife, Jensia Holland of Moss Point; a son, Delma O. Holland of Pachuta; a daughter, Brenda H. Howell of Agricola; a daughter-in-law, Sandra R. Holland of Pachuta; a son-in-law, D. R. "Bobby" Howell of Agricola; two sisters, Betty Lou H. Cochran of Central and Shirley H. Kawaoka of Leavenworth, Kansas; a brother, Cohen Holland of Central; four grandchildren, Charman H. Brock of Pine Bluff, Ark., Joseph Holland of Lucedale, Bron Howell and Caleb Howell, both of Agricola; a grand-son-in-law, Rev. John Brock; a great granddaughter Elizabeth Brock and a great grandson, Johnathan Holland Brock, all of Pine Bluff, Ark.

Interment was held at Magnolia Cemetery with Rev. Ben Carlisle, Rev. John Brock and Rev. Ronnie Maxie officiating the services. Published in the George County Times, October 11, 2001. Submitted by Betty R Marshall.
