Born Aug 5, 1884 near Coal City in Owen County, she was the daughter of Solomon Fiscus and Mary Alvira (Duncan) Fiscus.
She had been in failing health for the last five years and had been seriously ill for a month.
A life-time member of the Coal City Community, she was a member of the Coal City Church of Christ. Mrs. Price formerly was a member of the Rebekah Lodge.
She was married to Frank A. Price Feb., 21, 1903. The lived for a short time in Coalmont but later moved to Coal City. He preceded her in death June 23, 1953.
Survivors include: two daughters, Mrs. V.D. (Hazel) Church, Phoenix, Ariz.; and Mrs. Lester (Dorothy) Wright, Linton; a son, Guy L. Price, Longmont, Colo., and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter and a son.
Funeral arrangements were handled by the Schoppenhorst Funeral Home at Clay City.
