Arland "Tooley" Brown, "Gone Fishin" Elsinore, Utah
Our Loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and great-grandfather, Arland N. Brown, age 72, passed away on September 2, 2005 in Richfield, Utah. He was born July 5, 1933 in Koosharem, Utah, a son of Austin Christian and Vada S. Newby Brown. he Married Arva Ann Johnson September 1, 1956 in Sigurd Utah. Their marriage was solelminized in the Manti LDS Temple June 3, 1963. Arland worked for Georgia Pacific in Sigurd for 39 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, fourwheeling, collecting stamps and coins, but most of all he loved spending time with his family, camping at Boxcreek Resevoir. Arland will be missed and loved by his wife, Arva of Elsinore; his nine children; Shelly and Jerry Twitchell of Elsinore; Wayde and Denise Brown of Las Vegas, Nevada; Sharon and Danny Gricius, Leslie and Greg Levie, all of Cedar City; Tasha and Larry Lawrence of Soldontna, Alaska; Tanya and Clayton Gardiner of Spanish Fork; Russell and Paula Brown of Kearns; Brett and Dana Brown of Elsinore; Michael Brown of Phoenix, Arizona; 29 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; brother and sisters; Arbon Brown and Heartly Brown, both of Sigurd; Leora Luke of Orem and Belva Brown of Junction; sister-in-law, Camilla Brown of Sigurd and close friend, Junior Torgerson of Richfield and many other great friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Clinton Brown; a granddaughter, Brittani and a great-grandson, Kolton. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 7, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. in the Elsinore LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may call for viewing at the ward chapel in Elsinore, Wednesday morning for 9:30 to 10:30 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Elsinore City Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield, Salina and Gunnison, Utah.
