Orval Dee Marks. The funeral for Orval Dee Marks of Southeast Portland, a retired truck driver, will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Riverview Abbey Funeral Home. Mr. Marks died of a heart attack Tuesday in a Portland hospital. He was 82. Mr. Marks was born Nov. 21, 1909, in Monmouth. A lifelong resident of Oregon, he had lived in the Portland area for about 60 years. He worked for Crown Flour Mills for about 7 years. He also had leased trucks to Consolidated Frightways for several years and owned and operated a trucking business for a number of years. He retired in 1960. Survivors include his wife, Yuma May; daughter D.Eisen of Tillamook; son Neil O. of Portland; brothers Ivan of California, Lester of Woodburn and Jean D. of La Pine; 8 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. Entombment will be in Riverview Abbey Mausoleum. The family suggests remembrances be contributions to the Oregon Affiliate of the American Heart Association.
