Lt. Michael J. Frank North Augusta, SC—Funeral services for Lt. Michael J. Frank, 48, of North Augusta, SC, who entered into rest November 29, 2008 will be conducted Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock from the Lakeside Baptist Church. Pastor Tad Marshall officiating. Interment in Pineview Memorial Park with Law Enforcement Honors rendered by the Aiken County Sheriff's Office. Lt. Frank was a native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania having made North Augusta his home for the past 22 years. He was a member of Lakeside Baptist Church, where he served as an Usher and was a member of the Adult III Sunday School Class. Lt. Frank was a former Reporter with WRDW and WJBF and was a 13 year veteran of the Aiken County Sheriff's Office where he served as the Public Information Officer. An avid hockey fan, he was an Off Ice Official with the Augusta Lynx and a supporter of the Augusta Youth Hockey Program where he was an ACHA Official. Survivors include his children, Michael Tyler "Tip" Frank and Tara Chandler Frank both of North Augusta; his parents, Helen and Allen Frank, Ocala, Florida. Honorary Pallbearers will be Billy Kaye, Ben Lesshafft, Steve Willis, David Shedd, Larry Haney, Paul Shedd, Mark Baxley, James Richardson and members of the Aiken County Sheriff's Office. Active Pallbearers will be Charles Barranco, Chuck Cain, Steve Dieble, Chris Funk, Troy Elwell and John Fogle. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this Tuesday evening from 6 to 8.
