Floyd Elwood NORTHUP, 47, of 1102 N. 3rd, died Monday in the Veterans Administration Hospital in Big Spring after a long illness. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Elliott-Hamil Chapel of Memories.

The Rev. E. V. BROOKS, interim pastor of the Eula Baptist Church, will officiate with burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Born April 28, 1920 in Mechanicsburg, Ohio, he was a machinist in Abilene before becoming ill. He was a veteran of World War II.

Survivors are a son, Rory of Abilene; a brother, Alfred of Ohio and a sister, Jan BOND of BARSTOW, Calif.
