Clyde Lewis Dickens
SANGER - Clyde Lewis Dickens, 85, of Sanger died Sunday, Oct. 3, 2004, in Sanger.
He was born Sept. 11, 1919, to E.A. and Emma Helen (Rosson) Dickens. On Aug. 4, 1944, he married Mary Ruth Rutherford in Fort Worth. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He retired from working in the maintenance department at Victor Equipment.
He was a member of the Church of Christ in Sanger.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 6, at Sanger Cemetery. John Payne will officiate.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 5, at Coker Funeral Home in Sanger.
Survivors include his wife of Sanger; one daughter, Marilyn Kessler of Sanger; two sons, Bobby G. and Keith Dickens, both of Carrollton; one sister, Laverne Ferrell of Gainesville; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
