Colesburg - Funeral services were held here Tuesday for Charles Garlow, 72, of Colesburg, who died Saturday at an Iowa City hospital; son of Joshua and Tabitha Garlow, he was born in Updegraf, IA., Jan. 10, 1872 and spent most of his life in that locality; leaves a son, Richard Garlow, Rochester, N.Y.; three daughters, Mrs. Ethel Rhodas, Hamline, N.Y., Mrs. Jessie Schmitz and Mrs. Dessie Ryan, Detroit, Mich.; one sister, Mrs. Mary Simmons, Garber, two brothers, James, Colesburg, William, Minden, Ia.; and 24 grandchildren.
