Jim was the son of Thomas Jefferson and Teresa Ann Francis (Richey) Campbell. His headstone says he was born 1872 but the 1900 census says March 1873. His obituary says he was 83 (in Oct 1957) so that would make him born in 1874. I'm using the 1874 date. Jim married twice. First to Delta Lindsay in Missouri. They were soon divorced. Jim took care of his mother Teresa "Reese" for many years until her death. Much later in life he married an old sweetheart from Missouri, Flora Belle Storms Pharris, a widow. Flora had been married to Farley Pharris until his death. Flora is buried beside Farley at Fairfax, OK. Jim didn't have any children of his own. After his death, Flora gave the family photos to my mother. Flora had labeled some of them but they may not have known who the others were. Jim was beloved by all his family often riding the train "the old rattler" to see his brother Wood and other Campbell family members. My older sisters agreed that he had dark red hair and was a dapper dresser. He also loved to tell a good joke and was always smiling. He was a member of the Baptist church. His niece, my mother, thought the world of her Uncle Jim.
