Mr. Haley was the son of Coleman Haley and Polly Ann Cook Haley.
Mr. and Mrs. Haley were married on March 25, 1896. Mr. Haley was a member of the Broadwell Presbyterian Church.
Mr. Haley was survived by four sons; Clyde H., William B., and Joe Boyd Haley of Harrison County and Millard Haley of Erlanger, KY.; two daughters Mrs. Mary C. Haley Moore (Robert) and Mrs. Mamie Lee Haley Hurley (Harry) of Hamilton, Ohio, as well as four grandchildren. two great-grandchildren, and one brother, Clem Haley, Cynhiana, KY.
Funeral services were held August 12,1953 the Smith-Rees Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were H. D. Darnell, G. H. Darnell, Jr., Woodrow McMillan, T. Warth, Orlie Dunn, and Jack Shirley. Honorary pallbearers were Dr. H. C. Bloun, E. V. Gray, Thomas Moore, Quincy Moore, Wilbur Smith, and Jim Johnson.
