Mary Rebecca Starnes Busby was born February 14, 1953 in Columbia to the union of James Vernon and Opal Allaine Powell Starnes and died on December 24, 2007 at Citizens Medical Center following an extended illness.
Mary Rebecca was a loving wife, mother, grandmother. Her family was the light of her life and through all of her earthly struggles with her health that light which radiated from her family never dimmed.
Survivors include: her husband: Eddie Busby of Grayson; her son: Bowdy Busby of Grayson; her daughters: Becky Simons and her husband Carl, Bobby Coldiron and husband Allen, Mary Beth Busby all of Grayson; her grandchildren: Milton Coldiron, Jeffrey and Amber Simons, and Stormi Coldiron all of Grayson and her brother: McCoy Starnes of Pascagoula, MS.
Pallbearers were Jeremy Simons, Adam Simons, Daniel May, Cody Mardis, Robert Clark, Algie May, and Edwin Johnson.
