Died at Home of
Daughter Sunday
Mrs. Gus Troge passed away on Sunday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ingvald Johnson, after an illness of many months. She had been brought from her farm home to town to be near her doctor. She was only 47 years of age, being born in this county, and the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wilhelm Hartwig, and as Miss Alvina Hartwig received her education in the local schools.
Her marriage to Gus Troge took place June 2, 1909.
Surviving besides her husband are five daughters; Mrs. Johnson, Hildegarde (Dr. Sam Savre's assistant), Hulda, Darlene, Verena and one granddaughter, Dolores Johnson.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday afternoon at St. John's Lutheran Church in charge of the Reverend F. A. Brauer, and burial was made in the nearby cemetery.
