He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Josephine Myers some four years ago.
He is survived by a son, Ross Chism of Charleston; a sister, Mrs. Florence Hill of California; a half-sister, Mrs. Tom Blume of Charleston; a brother, Will Chism of Phoenix, Arizona; a half-brother, Walter Chism of Detroit.
