EMMA MARIE PRICE passed away on Saturday in her home. Born in Laketon to James E. & Mary Ellen (Boblet) Thompson, married July 26, 1904 to John C. Price. Lived at 120 E. Wayne st. in Laketon, Ind. Her husband was the late John Price Jr. Attended Laketon Wesleyan Church. She liked to read her Bible and tended her garden. She was in good health until the end. She had five children: Don Keith Price,Laketon, Carl C. Price, Raymond Eugene Price, N.Manchester,IN. Hilda,died at age 4 & Mabel, died after birth. Sisters: Mrs. Minnie Marlnee, Indianapolis, Mrs. Viola Burkholder, Wabash, Mrs. Francis Crook, LaCrosse, brothers: Marshall Thompson, Wabash, Raymond Thompson, Richvalley, five grandchildren, one great grandchild. Emma died Sat. July 27, 1957 of an apparent heart attack. Viewing in the home with service at Wesleyan Methodist Church, Laketon. Grandstaff funeral home in charge of arrangements. Burial in Laketon cemetery. Her parents, James E. & Mary moved to Roann where they are buried north of town in IOOF cemetery.
