Mrs. Bailey was born Sept. 2, 1919 in Melba, Idaho, to parents Joseph and Lottie (Grimes) Haydock. On Jan. 22, 1943, she married Clyde Bailey. They moved to Madras in 1946 from Parma, Idaho, when the irrigation district began delivering water to Agency Plains. She was a homemaker all her life.
Survivors include her sons, Dale Bailey of Madras, Russell Bailey of Portland; sisters, Ruth Gadd of Mississippi and Elvire Needles of Pendleton; and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and one son.
Funeral services were held Jan. 10, at Metolius Friends Church. Burial was at Mt. Jefferson Memorial Park in Madras.
Memorial contributions have been suggested to the Local chapter of American Association of Retired Persons (AARP), and Mountain View Hospital Auxiliary. Arrangements were under the direction of Bel-Air Colonial Funeral Home of Madras.
