Esta H. Hull, 56, Columbia township farmer and saw-mill operator, fell dead at 1:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the home of his neighbor, Robert Pratt, about five miles southwest of Columbia City. Dr. Otto F. Lehmberg, Whitley County Coroner, held an inquest Wednesday night and determined the cause of death was due to coronary occlusion.
He was born in Wabash County April 5, 1890, to William and Bertha (Snoke) Hull. On November 28, 1911, he was married to Hazel Engle. They lived on the William Sawyer farm on the Noble-Whitley County line until 1937, when they moved to their present home. In addition to farming, Mr. Hull also operated a saw-mill in which he did custom sawing throughout the community.
Surviving in addition to his wife are seven sons: Traverse Hull, Thorncreek twp; Carl Hull, Green twp, Noble Co.;Harry and Donald Hull, both of Columbia City; T-5 Thurman Hull, Porto Rica; Thurel and Herman Hull, both at home; four daughters: Mrs. Boyd Barnett, Ft. Wayne; Mrs. Galen Adair, Columbia City; Mrs. Esta Fry, Smith twp; and Betty, at home.
Funeral services will be held in the Fairview Church near North Manchester at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon, and burial will follow in t he church cemetery.
