OBITUARY

Marena Wilison died February 6th, 1875, in Clark, Washington Territory, aged 20 years, 2 months, and 15 days. Sister Wilson made no public profession. She told her husband she was prepared to die, made arrangements for her funeral, and sweetly fell asleep. She left a husband, three small children, and many friends to mourn their loss. May the God of all peace sanctify them wholly and ring them to that mansion which Jesus has prepared for all his followers. J. H. Alexander

MARENA MARBLE, the daughter of ANSIL SYLVESTER MARBLE and LOUVISA GAINER GREEN, was born November 21, 1854 in Portland, Multnomah County, Oregon, and died February 07, 1875 in Clarke County, Washington.

She married HENRY DORE WILSON March 18, 1870 in Vancouver, Clark County, Washington, son of THOMAS WILSON and ANN CHOPE. He was born July 14, 1845 in Detroit, Wayne County, Michigan, and died September 18, 1928 in Longview, Tattnall County, Georgia.

MARENA MARBLE WILSON died shortly after the birth of their daughter, MARENA WILSON (b: 1/27/1875).

The three children of MARENA MARBLE and HENRY DORE WILSON are:

(1). THOMAS SYLVESTER WILSON, was born January 02, 1871 in Vancouver, Clarke County, Washington, and died March 11, 1928 in Heisson, Clark County, Washington.

He married MARY ANGELINE LAMBERT December 28, 1895. She was born December 10, 1878 in Canada, and died November 24, 1940 in Vancouver, Clark County, Washington.

(2). GEORGE FRANKLIN WILSON, was born December 23, 1873 in Clarke County, Washington Territory, and died March 11, 1958 in Battleground, Clark County, Washington.

He married NELLIE ROSE JOY January 29, 1895 in Manor, Clarke County, Washington, daughter of JAMES JOY and NANCY MCMINDES. She was born July 24, 1877 in Bethany, Kansas, and died July 16, 1956 in Vancouver, Clark County, Washington.

(3). MARENA WILSON, was born January 22, 1874, Clarke County, Washington, and died January 09, 1879, Salmon Creek, Clark County, Washington.

MARENA WILSON at the age of five had a fatal accident; she fell down stairs at her grandfather Ansil Marble's home.
