Charles Henry Dennis 63, peacefully passed away at home after a short battle with cancer. He was the owner of Dennis Coal and Stove Co. Inc. He leaves behind his wife Nancy and daughters Carly and Heidi. He also leaves behind two grandchildren, three sisters, several nieces, nephews and many family and friends.
He was a graduate of Fabius High School class of 1963. He worked many years as a farmer and milk hauler and then later as operator of the Pompey landfill.
He was the son to the late Archie and Margaret Dennis of Pompey. He was predeceased by his brother Arnold.
Calling hours Friday Nov. 28, 2008 at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, 2584 Field Lane, LaFayette. Services held on Saturday Nov. 29, 2008 at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home.
Spring burial will be in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Pompey, NY.
