Married Permelia Lester on 17 September 1820 in Switzerland Co, Indiana; they were the parents of David, Sarah (Mrs. Joseph) Pratt, Hiram, Edward, Cyrus Samuel, Mary Elizabeth (Mrs. William Henry) Stoops and William Augustus.
