RHODA M MAUST GRANTSVILLE - Rhoda M. Maust, 82, of 223 Peavine Road, Grantsville, died Sunday, May 3, 1998, at Memorial Hospital, Cumberland.
Born May 18, 1915, in Garrett County, she was a daughter of the late Jonas B. and Barbara (Swartzentruber) Miller. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer L. Maust. Mrs. Maust was a retired licensed practical nurse at the Goodwill Mennonite Nursing Home.
She was a member of the Oak Dale Mennonite Church, former president of the Helping Hands Sewing Group and representative of the Women's Service.
Surviving are three sons, Oscar Maust, Millmont, Pa., Edgar Maust, Baltimore, and Arthur Maust, North Jackson, Ohio; four daughters, Louise Maust, Cumberland, Leona Maust, Grantsville, Norma Stewart, Indianapolis, Ind., and Kathryn Beals, Grantsville; 15 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville, Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be conducted at the Oak Dale Mennonite Church, Salisbury, Pa., Wednesday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Joe Byler officiating.
Interment will be in the Oak Dale Church Cemetery.
The body will be taken to the church at 9 a.m. Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Oak Dale Helping Hands, c/o Oak Dale Mennonite Church, 365 Oak Dale Road, P.O. Box 448, Salisbury, PA 15558.
