Earl Franklin Henning of Newberg died Nov. 13, 2008. He was 95.

He was born June 29, 1913, in Three Lakes, Wash., to Frank and Rose (Sell) Henning.

On March 27, 1937, he married Hazel Ellis in Marysville, Wash. He worked as a minister in the First Assemblies of God Church. After retiring he was a member of the Newberg congregation.

Survivors include: sons, Ken and Kevin; daughters, Marlene Semas, Jacque Savage and Beverly Orr; brother Leroy and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife Hazel in September 2001 and by daughter Anita.

A graveside service was held Nov. 18 at Valley View Memorial Park with the Rev. Larry Savage, his son-in-law, officiating.
