Charles LeBaron Taylor, 77, of Dudley Ave., died at a local hospital Monday afternoon. He was a guard for Escambia County Sheriffs Department until his retirement. He was a member of the Baptist Church. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Margaret Taylor of Pensacola; a son Allen L. Taylor of Pensacola; a daughter, Mrs. Margaret Brand of Cincinnati, Ohio; four stepsons, LeRoy, Hilra and Dilfred Roberson, all of Pensacola and Frank Roberson of Washington, D.C.; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Ruby Hardigree, Mrs. Vonceil Searcy and Mrs. Margaret Steele, all of Pensacola; two sisters, Mrs. Rose Gibbs and Mrs. Laura Yonker, both of Pensacola; a brother, Arthur Taylor of Pensacola; 27 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Burial will be in Beulah Cemetery.
