Mrs. Magnusson, 525 W. Mahoney, was the last of 11 children of the Thomas Stapley family, early pioneers of Mesa.
She was a member of the Alma 1st Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and served in the Primary and as counselor, teacher and visiting teacher for the Relief Society.
Survivors include two sons, Ray Elmer of Mesa and Bernard F. of Phoenix; two daughters, Mrs. Odella Wright of Santa Fe Springs, Calif. and Mrs. Grace Ringwood of LaMirada, Calif.; 20 grandchildren and 44 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
Christy was preceded in death by a daughter Nedra Burns.
Funeral Services are held April 11 at the Meldrum Mortuary Chapel at 10:00 A.M.
Interment in the Mesa City Cemetery to be buried next to her husband who died December 23, 1973.
