She was born 1 Oct 1829 in Overton Co., TN and died 20 Apr 1898 in Overton Co., TN. Burial in Isaac G. Masters Cem., Overton Co. Isaac Gore Masters served in the Confederate Army in the Civil War. He
enlisted in the 84th Tennessee Infantry, Company F, on December 1, 1862 along with other men from Overton County. He was later promoted to 1st
Lieutenant. After consolidation with the 28th Infantry, he served in many campaigns including Chattanooga, Atlanta and the battle of Franklin.32
After the Civil War and through most of his adult life, he hauled merchandise from Nashville to merchants in Overton County with a six horse
team and a large wagon.
