COOK - Frances Ruth (Cooper) Cook, aged 71, was called home to be with the Lord unexpectedly Friday, May 13, 2005 in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Frances was born on February 21, 1934 in Reed City, Michigan, the daughter of Frank and Irma (Langworthy) Cooper who preceded her in death, as well as two infant sons, Steven and Mark. She married her beloved Jack E. Cook in 1958 who survives her along with her daughters, Jacqueline (Randy) Hall, Rhonda (Smiley) Adam, and Patricia (Ronald) Norton; her grandchildren, Jeremy and Hayley Wible, Ryan and Casey Dornbos, Josh Norton and Nicole Spaulding, and also her great grandson, Jaxon Dornbos. She is also survived by her brother, Dwight (Barbara) Cooper, sisters, Lois (Steven) Gerakinis, Margaret (Mick) Gondick, and Helen (Wayne) Squires; many nieces, nephews, and extended family members, James Dornbos, Thomas Spaulding, and Bryan Wible. Frances earned a Diploma from Moody Bible Institute, she earned her BA at Cedarville College, and a Masters Degree from Western Michigan University. She pursued a lifelong career in teaching and touched the lives of many of her students and co-workers with her passion for the English Language and Christian Education. She committed her life to Christ at the age of seven and stood firm in her faith until being welcomed home by her Savior. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Trinity Baptist Church, 2050 Aberdeen N.E. with Rev. David Somers, Rev. Wayne Squires, and her husband Rev. Jack E. Cook officiating.
