Obituary from the Allentown Morning Call Newspaper, 31 March, 1899.

Enos Druckenmiller died suddenly at his home near Old Zionsville on Wednesday morning. He was 79 years of age and was one of the oldest inhabitants of the place. The cause of death was apoplexy. He had a slight stroke a few weeks ago. He lived with his son-in-law, Milton Kleinsmith. He is survived by fourteen adult children, all married. He sold his farm lately, had a sale of his personal property, and was getting ready to move to the home of another son-in-law, Mr. Brey, near Shimersville. Mr. Kleinsmith slept in the same room, and when he got up in the morning, thought Mr. Druckenmiller was sleeping. When he didn't answer the call for breakfast, an investigation revealed he was dead. The funeral will be held next Tuesday morning with services and interment at Old Zionsville, Rev. Dr. Eli Keller officiating. Two sons of the deceased are Lutheran ministers, Rev. Joel Druckenmiller, of Michigan, and Rev. George Druckenmiller, of Freeburg, Snyder county.
