Clayton E. Hickman, 60, of Rye died April 24, 2001.
He was a veteran of the Korean conflict, having served in the United States Air Force. He retired from Southern Pacific Railroad after 32 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar Lee Hickman and Frances Franklin Hickman; children, Jennifer Hickman and Stephen Hickman; sister, Frances Caldwell; and brother, Arnold Hickman.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Sylvia Hickman; sisters, Louise Gardner and husband Dub, Mary Lou Hickman, Barbara Quinn and husband, William and Jerald LaVerne Grantham and husband Curtis; brothers, Leon Hickman and wife Dorothy, and Charles Hickman; and numerous nieces and nephews.
