The original homplace of Sam White was located at the corner of Panola Road, Salem Road and Brown's Mill Road, Dekalb County and included approximately 116 acres. When his father died, he moved to his father's homestead in Henry County to take care of his sister, Fannie, who was paralyzed and confined to a wheel chair. He later sole his land in five acre tracts.
