RUSTON - Funeral services for Wayne P. Hawthorne, 71, will be held Tuesday in the Ebenezer Baptist Church in Little Creek with the Rev. Joseph Shelton officiating, assisted by the Rev. Aron Paul Ervin, the Rev. Danny Hawthorne, and the Rev. Carl Prentice. Burial will be in Hawthorne Cemetery in Jena under direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston.
Survivors include his widow; one daughter, Mrs. Rheba Franklin of Shreveport; one son, Arbye A. Hawthorne of Beaumont Tex.; two sisters, Mrs. Arthur Davis of West Monroe and Mrs. Em Stringer of Trout; and four grandchildren.
