"Bernie"

Age 88, passed away at Millcroft Health Center in Newark, DE on Wednesday, November 19, 2008.

Born in Tuxedo, NY, Bernie was the son of Christopher J Farrell and Bridget (O'Connor) Farrell. A veteran of WWII, Bernie also worked for Greyhound Bus Lines, retiring in 1982 after over 30 years of service.

He was predeceased by all of his 9 siblings. He lived in Wantagh, NY with his brother, Hubert's family for 30 years before moving to Newark DE in 1999. Bernie was a generous, loving uncle to his many nieces and nephews who survive him.

The family would like to thank the staff at Millcroft for the excellent care they provided for him.

A private Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Angels Roman Catholic Church in Newark DE with interment at St. Anastasia Cemetery in Harriman, NY.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Little Sisters of the Poor at 185 Salem Church Road, Newark, DE 19713-2997.
