BAY PINES (Special) -- Earl Cranston Dowdell, 87, Spanish-American War veteran, died Monday at Veterans Hospital here. A native of Lawrenceburg, Ind., he moved to 8100 60th St. N., Seminole, 40 years ago from Valparaiso, Ind. He was a retired railway mail clerk; a member of the Seminole Methodist Church, and Spanish-American War Veterans, St. Petersburg. Survivors include a son, Richard O. Dowdell, Valparaiso; two daughters, Mrs. Ethel D. Casbon, Valparaiso, and Mrs. Florence Wiesjahn, Hobart, Ind.
