Mrs. Jewell LEWIS, 72, of 3309 Sherry Lane died Saturday in Corpus Christi after a brief illness. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 542 Hickory St.

Burial will be in Cedar Hill.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard LEWIS, in 1979.

Survivors include a son, Dean of Buffalo Gap; four daughters, Joyce AUSTIN of Corpus Christi, Jean MEEKS of Hext, Glenda CLINTON and Marilyn KNAPP, both of Abilene; two brothers, Harvey YOACHUM of Fritch and Glenn YOACHUM of Stinnett; 14 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
