Mrs. Parsons died Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2008, in Parkville, Mo.
She was born June 14, 1928, in Lawrence, the daughter of Edward B. and Viola Mae Evans Tingle.
She attended Pleasant Grove and McAllester grade schools and graduated from Liberty Memorial High School.
Mrs. Parsons was a homemaker and worked in the office at Packer Plastics for 19 years after her children were grown.
She married LeRoy Stillman Parsons on Nov. 12, 1946. He died Sept. 29, 2001.
Survivors include three daughters, Linda Reno, Denver, Karen Parsons, Baldwin City, and Nancy Parsons, Lawrence; a son, Steven LeRoy Parsons, Parkville, Mo.; a sister, Doris Bartkoski, Tonganoxie; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
