Mrs. Mae King, 76 of Pocahontas, died last Thursday at Randolph County Hospital. She was born in Randolph County, was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist Church for 59 years. Survivors include four daughters: Mrs. Dorothy Decker of Little Rock, Mrs. Juanita Zieger of Pittsburg, Calif., Mrs. Nadine Dunning of Corning and Mrs. Lavonda Hurt of Rockford, IL.; two sons, Herman King of Pocahontas and Doyle King of Festus, Mo.; one step-daughter, Mrs. Vena Stacey of Pocahontas; one stepson, Hurley King of Whitehall, Mich.; three brothers, Pete Rice of St. Louis, Mo., Ed Rice of Pontiac, Mich., and Wid Rice of Corning; two sisters, Mrs. Vada Hogue of Dalton, and Mrs. Odessa Bell of Perkins, Okla.; 15 grandchildren and 10 great -grandchildren. Funeral services were at 2:00 p.m., Sunday at the Higginbotham Funeral Service Chapel in Walnut Ridge. Burial followed in White Cemetery in Randolph County.
