Caroline N. Webb, 97, of 151 Broad St., Montgomery, passed away Thursday, July 28, 2011, at Kramm Healthcare Center, where she was a guest.
She was born Dec. 7, 1913, in Gamble Township, a daughter of Charles Dodd and Lillian Gertrude Solomon Albert.
Caroline was a graduate of Williamsport High School. She was a member of the Women's Auxiliary at both the Montgomery American Legion Post No. 251 and the V.F.W. Post No. 3428 in Muncy. She enjoyed music, dancing, traveling and was a truly warm and loving person.
She was predeceased by her husband, John E. Webb; a brother, David Albert; step-brother, Roland Albert and a step-sister, Ruth Ely.
Caroline is survived by a son, Donald J. Webb, of Clarkstown; two daughters, Martha W. Stahl, of Montgomery and Cheryl L. (Roland) Ellsworth, of Williamson, N.Y.; three grandchildren, Nancy (Tom) Sardelli, Sandy (Randy) Beckett and Richard E. Stahl; four great-grandchildren; six step-grandchildren, twelve step great-grandchildren and five step-great-great-grand- children.
A graveside service will be held 2 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2011 in Beech Valley Cemetery in Trout Run, with Rev. Byron F. Krapf officiating. There will be no visitation.
Arrangements are by Spitler Funeral Home, Montoursville.
