Funeral services for Mrs. Lula Adkins Whitt, 79, South Houston Street, Athens, were held yesterday at 2 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, Rev. Claude Cluney and Dr. Barry Anderson officiating. Mrs. White, who died Tuesday at her home, was buried in the Athens City Cemetery, McConnell Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Anna Jean Lee, Moulton, and Mrs. Marjorie Walker, Athens; one sister, Mrs. Theo Calvin Sr., Athens, and three grandsons.

Mrs. White was a member of the Athens BPW Club and the First Presbyterian Church.

Pallbearers were Bud Hancock, Tom Dean, Aubrey Looney, George Roberts, Theo Calvin and Melvin Clem.
