Waterbury Center-Joan D.Steele,72,of Gregg Hill Road,passed away at Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington on Monday,Nov.3.2008.born on Duxbury on Jan.16,1936,she was the daugther of the late Lloyd Sartell and Edna R.Dubie.Joan was married to Robert Steele who predeceased her in 1996.Joan is survived by her son,Brooke D.Steele and his wife,Terri of Middlesex;and her three grandchildren,Jordan Steele,Keith Johnson and Brayden Steele,as well as many dear friends.Memorial services will be held from the Perkins-Parker Funeral Home in Waterbury on Friday at 11a.m.with interment to follow in the Hope Cemetery,Waterbury.Assisting the family is the Perkins-Parker Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Waterbury.
