Came to USA from Knocknagoshel, Co. Kerry to be housekeeper for her brother a priest in the Pittsburgh area. Rev. John J. Greaney.
Met and married John J. Montgomery of Wilkinsburg, Pa. They had first child Marie up in Pittsburgh area and eventually found their way to Phila area where the twins and Jack were born.
She passed away leaving Marie, twins Margaret & Eileen, John. They lost another child Kathleen as an infant.
The children were young but to this day can tell you many a story of their mother and her Irish sayings and about her life in Ireland. She was the daughter of John Greaney and Mary Brosnan. Many other brothers and sisters in her family.
The family still lives on the homestead in Ireland.
