Mr. Tilton, 66, of Oakdale, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, July 8, 2008 in the Oakdale Community Hospital. He was born March 19, 1942, to the union of Morgan Tilton and Clara Simpson Tilton in Shreveport. He was a former employee of Reichold and Arizonia Chemical in Oakdale. He also was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend.
His parents, Morgan and Clara Tilton precedes him in death.
He leaves behind his loving family to cherish his memory, his wife, Margaret Peterman Tilton of Oakdale; two sons, Thomas D. Tilton, Jr. and Clinton D. Tilton both of Oakdale; two daughters, Elizabeth "Liz" Tilton Bond and Stacey Renee Tilton both of Oakdale; one brother, William Tilton of Colorado; four grandchildren, Misty Tilton, Sadie Bond, Taylor Jeansonne, Maddie Willis all of Oakdale.
Pallbearers will be Stuard Brady, Travis Monk, Eric Willis, C.W. Paul, Slade Brady, Marcus Willis, Robbie Hutchins and Billy Pelt.
Friends may call today July 10, 2008 in the White Oaks Chapel from 8 a.m. until time of service at 2 p.m.
