Martha Hilburn was the 2nd wife of Harrison Ashby. They were married March 9, 1856 in Pike county, Indiana. She was born 1836 in New York State. She died sometime between 1880 and 1899 probably in Lockhart, Pike, Indiana. She was the mother of D.B. Ashby (died in childhood) Claretta "Lucy" Ashby and Mary Bell Ashby. They may have had other children that did not survive to adulthood.
