Suggested edit: From Bates County Democrat, April 11, 1957 - "Anna Dollie Ghere, 82, Butler, passed away at 9:45 a.m. Sunday morning at a hospital in Nevada. (Mo.) She had been a resident of Bates County for many years. The daughter of Daniel and Amanda Carroll, she was born on July 31, 1874, in McDonough County, Ill. Her husband, Joseph L. Ghere preceded her in death in 1952. Surviving are: one daughter, Miss Gladys Ghere of Butler; three sons, Vernie H., Ralph L. and William W., all of Butler; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren. Services were held at 3 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the Culver-Underwood chapel with Rev. Harry O. Hubbard officiating. Burial was made in Fairview Cemetery, southeast of Butler."
