She was born June 3, 1895, in Kearney. Her husband, Emil, and a daughter, Mrs. Phyllis Blair, preceded her in death in 1961 and 1969.
Mrs. Benson was a member of Big Horn Rebekahs, Womans Club, Circle Homemakers and Community Church. For over 25 years she was a 4H Club leader.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Cecil Garber, Sheridan; Mrs. Paul Anderson, Laramie, Karleen Benson; a son, Oscar Benson, Kirby Star Rt. 11 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Services are Friday, 2 p.m., from Champion Funeral Home, with Rev. William A. Ebertz, officiating, and burial is in Big Horn Cemetery. Memorial may be sent to the Cancer Fund, care of Ron Daly, First National Bank.
