Died: Wednesday, November 12, 2008

Margaretta Nellie (Toots) (Maggie) Crone, 79, New Albany, died Wednesday evening, Nov. 12, 2008, at Providence Retirement Home in New Albany.

Born Dec. 15, 1928, in Harrison County, she was the daughter of the late Orin and Henrietta Crone.

She worked at Enro Shirt Factory, the old bag plant in Charlestown, Quartermaster and H.A. Seinsheimers, retired from General Electric after 35 years of service, and was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, VFW 3281 and Zoar United Methodist Church in Crandall.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Wilma Crone Rissler.

Survivors include a brother, Merrill Crone of New Albany.

Visitation: Monday, Nov. 17, from 2 to 8 p.m. at the Market Street Chapel of Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Homes in New Albany.

Funeral: Tuesday, Nov. 18, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with interment in Wolfe Cemetery in Georgetown.
