Schenectady - Rosemary Tracy Shean, 79, formr resident of Nicholas Avenue, Niskayuna, died on Saturday, June 26, 2004 at Kingsway Arms Nursing Center. Rosemary was born in Utica, daughter of the late Bernard and Gertrude Carney Tracy. She was a graduate of the College of New rochelle with a B.S., Class of 1947. Rosemary has been a Schenectady reisdent since 1953. She was a member of St. Helen's Church, the Rosary Society and a Eucharistic Minister.

She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Her husband, Robert J. Shean died May 20, 1996. She was the mother of William B. Shean and his wife, Therese of Schenectady, Mary Newsham and her husband Arlan of Highland, NY, Nancy Malatesta and her husband, Mark of Midlothian, VA, Kathleen Caron and her husband, Ronald of Flower Mound, TX, Ellen Jones and her husband, James of Glenville; grandmother of Brian and Marie Newsham of Latham, Michael and Katelyn Newsham of Highland, Alex, Nicholas, and Jillian Matesta of Midlothian, VA, Nichole and Melanie Caron of Flower Mound, TX, Lauren and Ryan Jones of Glenville, and Nicholas and Ashley Shean of Schenectady.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services on Tuesday morning with prayers at 8:20 a.m. at the Jones Funeral Home and a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. at St. Helen's Church . Calling hours will be Monday afternoon from 2 to 4 p.m. and in the evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Jones Funeral Home, 1503 Union St. (at McClellan St.) Schenectady, for those who wish to call.

Interment following the Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna. Memorial contributions may be made in rosemary's memory to Comminity Hospice of Schenectady, 1411 Union st., Schenectady, NY 12308.
