Addie Myrtle Fannin of West Liberty, KY, passed away Friday, November 9, 2018 at her residence, at the age of 85 years, 6 months, and 23 days. She was born Monday, April 17, 1933, at Middle Fork, KY, daughter of the late Dewey & Carma Holbrook Burks.

Myrtle was united in marriage to Walter Fannin. This union was blessed with five children, Walter Freddie, Brenda, Debbie, Patty, and Terry. She was a homemaker, devoting her life to care for her family and her home. She was a Christian and a member of the Martha Enterprise Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Fannin; one son, Walter Freddie Fannin; and two sisters, Zelda Fannin and Amanda Fannin.

She is survived by three daughters and one son, Brenda Payne & Randy, Debbie & Jr. Burchett, Patty & John Gibson, and Terry & Sherry Fannin all of West Liberty, KY; a special nephew, Larry Joe & Gladys Abrams of Carlisle, KY; seven grandchildren, Nick Payne, Tommy Payne, TJ Payne, Anita Laney & Lonnie, John Michael Gibson, Kayla & Zach Prater, and Akyla Fannin; four great grandchildren, Gavin Payne, Hannah Laney, Emma Laney, and Emmalyn Prater; one sister, Wilda Burks; and one brother, Dallas Burks.

Funeral service 1:00 p.m., Sunday, November 11, 2018 at the Potter Funeral Home, with Rev. Jim Holbrook, Rev. Roger Ball, and Bro. Rick Pelfrey officiating. Burial to follow in the Fannin Cemetery, Crockett, KY. Visitation after 6:00 p.m., Saturday, November 10, 2018 at the funeral home.

Pallbearers: John Gibson, John Michael Gibson, Jr. Burchett, Nick Payne, Tommy Payne, and Randy Bailey.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations to the Martha Enterprise Baptist Church.
