George Homer Atkinson
George Homer Atkinson, 31, a native of Elon College, died Thursday at Norfolk, Va.
Tentative funeral plans have been made, pending the arrival of the body from Norfolk. The final rites are scheduled to conducted from the residence of M. A. Atkinson, father of the deceased, at Elon College, tomorrow afternoon at 3:30 o'clock. Interment will follow In Magnolia cemetery.
Dr. L. E. Smith will officiate.
The deceased Is survived by his father and step-mother, Mr. and Mrs. M. A. Atkinson, Elon College; one sister, Mrs. George McNeil, Morehead City; one brother, S. Lane Atkinson, Salisbury.
