Mrs. Ruby Abell
STATESVILLE - Mrs. Ruby Marie Oldham Abell, 81, of 921 Brookwood Court died Friday at her home.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at First Baptist Church, of which she was a member. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery in Elon College.
A native of Whitsett, she attended high school in Elon College and was a homemaker.
Surviving are sons, Sheffield H. Abell Jr. of Searcy, Ark., Dr. J. Curtis Abell of the home; daughter, Mrs. Jean Garrett of Wilkesboro; sister, Mrs. Helen O. Yarborough of Anderson, S.C.; six grandchildren.
The family will be at Nicholson Funeral Home 7-8:30 p.m. today.
