**Betty Andrews Lassiter, of Jena died at 11:20 pm,Tuesday, November 8,2005 at the St. Francis North Hospital of Monroe after a short illness.
**She was a life-long member of the Jena Free Methodist Church and a life-long resident of LaSalle Parish. **Graveside services were held at 2:30 PM, Thursday November 10, at Woodland Cemetery of Jena with the Revs. Carol Bradford and Aaron Jolly officiating.
**Interment was under the direction of Hixson Brothers of Jena.
**She was preceeded in death by her partents Wade and Mardelle Andrews and a twin brother Billy Andrews. **Survivers include her husband of 50 years, Frank Lassiter of Jena; one daughter Anna Lynn Lassiter of Jena and one son Rickey Wade Norris of Benton; one sister Ann Andrews Norsworthy of New Caney, TX; two brothers, Hershel Wade Andrews of Eros and Dan Andrews of Rayville; and a host of nieces and nephews.
